White Water Raftig

The Low Water Rafting trip is the best rapids at the best time. The trip is designed to finish leaving guests enough time to get back into Victoria Falls and enjoy an afternoon activity.

Low Water Rafting

Guests get to take on the biggest and meanest rapids on the Zambezi, starting at Rapid No. 1 and ending at Rapid No.19, where lunch is served at the top of the gorge. White Water Rafting on the Zambezi River is dependent on the river levels and as such the dates above are approximate based on our past years of operation. These dates may vary. The level is dependent on the amount of rainfall received and is clearly beyond our control.

High Water Rafting

Rapids: No.11 to No. 23

The High Water Rafting trip runs from rapid 11 to rapid 23 due to the washed out nature of the first rapids at this high water time. The trip is designed to finish leaving guests enough time to get back into Victoria Falls and enjoy an afternoon activity.
Guests get to take on the Zambezi, starting at Rapid No. 11 and ending at Rapid No.23, where lunch is served at the top of the gorge. When the water reaches extremely high levels, rafting is halted until the level lowers.
Minimum age: 15 years (This can be flexible, at management’s discretion i.e. if the child is of the right maturity, strength and will fit into a life-jacket properly younger kids are sometimes accepted.)
